Picocom was pleased to participate at MWC 2024, 26 – 29 February 2024, in Barcelona. The Picocom Powered Demo Zone, located in Hall 5, was a hive of activity throughout the show, as the Picocom team showcased an array of technology to many engaging customers, partners, prospects, media, and analysts in over 90 meetings.

Highlights include:

• PC805 live end-to-end demonstration

Unveiled for its first trade show appearance, this unique, small footprint, low-power optimised system-on-chip (SoC) is the industry’s first SoC for 5G small cell Open RAN radio units. It was exciting to feature a live PC805 end-to-end Split 7.2 demonstration.

• Wave Electronics O-RU live end-to-end demonstration

Following the recent announcement that Wave Electronics, Korea, has designed-in Picocom’s PC802 SoC into its latest Open RAN product, the WEH47-TM24B radio unit (O-RU), was showcased in a live end-to-end demonstration.

• Software Radio Systems (SRS) stack integration

Celebrated the SRS Enterprise 5G stack integration with Picocom PC802 ORANIC in-line PHY/NIC for O-DU.

• The Picocom Powered ‘Show and Tell’ display

• O-RAN Alliance demonstration

Picocom also participated in the O-RAN Alliance virtual online demonstration:
