PC802
PC802 Small Cell Development Board (PC802SCB)
The PC802 Small Cell Development Board (PC802SCB) is a flexible 5G NR/LTE development platform for evaluating the PC802 for different small cell use cases:
- Split 0 Integrated Small Cell (gNB) (-1E)
- Split 2 Distributed unit (gNB-DU) with full PHY functionality
- Split 6 Radio Unit (S-RU) with full PHY functionality
- Split 7.2 Radio Unit (O-RU) with low PHY functionality
The board contains a single PC802 connected to a Network Processor (an NXP LS1046A) and an RF transceiver (an ADI ADRV9029). The four Tx and four Rx signals are brought to SMA connectors.
PC802 ORANIC – In-line PHY and NIC for O-DU
The PC802 ‘ORANIC’ is a Small Cell Forum award-winning Open RAN PHY and NIC board, designed for 5G/4G O-RAN O-DU servers. ORANIC interfaces to L2 software via the Open RAN SCF FAPI interface. It includes 4 PC802s, driving 4 25G SFP interfaces conformant to the O-RAN Open Fronthaul interface. It is capable of driving 16 2T2R or 8 4T4R O-RUs.
PC802 Evaluation Board (PC802EVB)
The PC802 EVB is a PCIe board that brings all the main interfaces of the PC802 to connectors. As well as the 4-line Gen 4 PCIe interface, 10G/25G Ethernet is available via an SFP+ and the JESD204B lanes are brought to FMC connectors, which is suitable for connection to evaluation boards that are available from a number of RFIC vendors. Full clock synchronisation is available and the board can function as a PTP master.
PC805
PC805 RU Demonstrator Board (PC805RDB)
The PC805 RU Demonstrator Board is a flexible 5G NR/LTE Radio Unit (RU) board used to demonstrate the PC805 SoC with on-board RF transceiver, front-end and associated support circuitry.
The PC805 RU Demonstrator Board integrates a TI AFE7769D 4T4R RFIC complete with band n78 RF front end, based on an iCana demonstrator design.
