Picocom was pleased to participate in the Rohde & Schwarz Seminar in Taipei, Taiwan on 29 June 2023.

The event topic focussed on ‘Power Amplifier Applications and Measurement in 5G NR Small Cells‘.

As well as demonstrating SCB (PC802 Small Cell Board) DL signals on the Picocom booth, Senior Application Engineer Joseph Lin presented on ‘PA Linearisation Technology in 5G Small Cells’ and shared a technical demonstration as part of his presentation. He introduced the power amplifier linearisation technology of 5G small base stations from a system perspective, including DPD and CFR, and the design guidelines of the RF front-end, the analysis of the signal-to-interference ratio on the feedback path.
