Peter Claydon, Picocom President, contributes to techUK Diversifying Telecoms podcast.

The two-part podcast, hosted by Sophie James, Programme Manager – Communications Infrastructure and Services at techUK, is initially joined by the Rt Hon Greg Clark MP, Chair of the Science and Technology Committee, to discuss the recent publication of the report: 5G market diversification and wider lessons for critical and emerging technologies.

The second part of the episode features a panel discussion with Attilio Zani – Telecom Infra Project, Peter Claydon – Picocom, and Helen Duncan. The panellists discuss the key area of activity identified in the 5G Supply Chain Diversification Strategy that aims to accelerate open-interface solutions and deployment so that the UK’s mobile networks are not reliant on any single vendor.
